The main body is a rich, solid purple canvas featuring very subtle, tiny spaced-out butis (dots) in white and gold. The highlight of this piece is its border: it begins with a sharp, vertical ikat jagged spire line (rudraksha or kumbha teeth), transitioning into horizontal bands of ochre yellow and red that feature fine, supplementary warp and weft geometric threadwork, finishing with a solid black band.
