Buying a wedding saree: plan the full timeline
Plan delivery, blouse stitching, a fitting and outfit checks. Ready pieces have a tentative 7–15-day merchant timeline; made-to-order pieces need approximately 30 days to make plus seven days for delivery.
Work backwards from the date you will wear it
Start with the event date and leave time after delivery to prepare the full outfit. A blouse needs tailoring and may need a fitting correction. Jewellery, footwear and the way you drape the saree also benefit from a trial before the occasion.
If you are ordering for a close date, speak with the team before paying. An occasion label means the collection may suit the event; it is not a promise that every piece will reach you before that date.
Choose the piece for your role in the celebration
Consider the ceremony, venue and hours of wear. A guest outfit, a family ceremony and your own wedding can call for different levels of detail. Compare the full drape and border rather than selecting only from a pallu close-up.
Check the fabric description and care. If exact fibre, zari or provenance matters to your high-value purchase, ask for the product-specific details that are missing. Styling films can help with ideas, but the saree shown may differ from your chosen piece.
Confirm the order details before checkout
Read whether the blouse is included and unstitched, whether the variant is ready or made to order, and the cancellation terms. Atulya allows a cancellation request within 48 hours for a refund, except that the ₹1,000 partial-COD advance remains non-refundable. Later requests are reviewed case by case.
Change-of-mind returns are not offered. Use the available photographs and assistance to resolve colour, fabric and blouse questions before ordering. Keep the selected product link with any confirmation from the team so you can refer to the exact piece.
Questions, answered
Is 37 days enough for a made-to-order wedding outfit?
That covers the approximate making and delivery timeline, not blouse tailoring and fittings. Allow additional preparation time.
