KNOW YOUR ARTISAN
Behind every weave is a name, a village, a lifetime.
Every saree on Atulya Karigari is made by a real person, with a real name, working in a real village. Not a factory. Not anonymous labour. A weaver you can now meet, read about, and choose to support.

Hand Block Printing — Kota Doria, Mul Mul CottonINTRODUCTION
Ram Ram Sa! I am Govind Mali from Bagru, Rajasthan. For over 20 years, I have been creating Hand Block Printed Kota Doria and Mul Mul Cotton, carrying Rajasthan's timeless printing heritage into each design.
ABOUT THE ART
Bagru block printing is a centuries-old craft where hand-carved wooden blocks are dipped in natural vegetable dyes and pressed onto fabric. Since joining Atulya Karigari in 2020 during the COVID crisis, I have experimented with colors and patterns, creating unique designs while preserving Bagru's authentic charm.
HIS JOURNEY
Atulya Karigari has given my prints a path to reach homes far beyond Rajasthan. Every order feels like a celebration of my culture and craft.
LEGACY
Atulya Karigari continues to carry forward the old tradition, keeping Bagru block printing alive in modern homes.
